In the wake of recent attack on CAPF convoy, the Ministry of Home affairs will be sending a team of the Secretary (Boarder Management), Shri Susheel Kumar and Special Secretary, (Internal Security), Shri Mahesh Kumar Singla accompanied by Joint Secretary (Kashmir), Shri Gyanesh Kumar to Jammu and Kashmir to look into the issues of possible increase in cross boarder infiltration, and the practices and procedures being followed by the CAPF during movement of their convoys.
The Union Home Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh has directed that the team should submits its report at the earliest. The Union Home Minister has set up the team owing to his deep concern for the loss of life of brave CAPF Personnel.
The team would be leaving for J&K by Tuesday.
